Since receiving my health coaching certification, friends and family are constantly asking me about healthy breakfast ideas. It seems all anyone eats are eggs! If you follow me on Insta, you already know that I love making bowls and smoothies that are full of nothing but nutrition. Here are five well-balanced breakfast ideas (including my yogurt bowl and chocolate, banana smoothie) to begin incorporating into your mornings.
Yogurt
1 cup unsweetened, plain Greek yogurt - Chobani
1/4-1/2 cup of granola
1/2 cup berries
Agave or honey
Oatmeal
1 cup oatmeal (steel cut is best) - Quaker makes single serve
1 tablespoon nuts (almonds or walnuts)
1/2 cup berries
dash cinnamon
Waffles
2 whole grain waffles - Van’s
2 teaspoons almond or peanut butter - Justin’s
banana or apple
Smoothie
4 oz almond milk
4 oz water
2 teaspoons almond butter
1 banana
1/2 tsp. cacao powder
Power Avocado Toast
2 pieces multigrain bread
1/2 avocado
2 hard boiled eggs
tumeric or red pepper flakes
