Of course, I linked out to the products I'd buy if I were to get just one in each category: complexion, eyes and lips.  I really can't wait to get the new LES 4 OMBRES that's launching in July (shown in the first picture).  How gorgeous is that?  That's all for now from the Chanel 2014 Cruise Dubai Show.  Proving, everyone can own a small piece of Chanel, even if we weren't taken to Dubai by Karl or don't have that classic Chanel bag... yet.

Get Jennifer Aniston's Look from the NYC We're The Millers Premiere

Jennifer Aniston rocked a "summer in the city" inspired look for the We're the Miller's premiere courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Angela Levin.  As soon as I saw the inspiration I wanted to know more.  The only real difference I noticed from Jennifer's previous red carpet looks was her eye makeup.  Always stunning, we've never covered her breakdown.  So for all of her fans, here you go:

As a foundation, Levin applied FACE Picture Perfect Foundation in "O" and "J" ($48, facestockholm.com) and blended with a Chanel Foundation Brush ($45, shop.nordstrom.com) motioning in circular motions.

To give her a sun kissed look, Levin used Chanel Le Blush Creme in Revelation ($38, shop.nordstrom.com) and Chanel Le Beiges Health Glow Sheer Colour PF 15 No. 40 ($57.50, chanel.com) on the forehead, cheeks and chin.

For natural looking eyes, Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow Spicea pallet ($59, chanel.com). To make the eyes pop she applied the lightest color underneath the brow and the gold color on the lid under the lower lashes. The dark shade was used in the crease of the lid to open they eyes. She finished with Chanel Illusion D'Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in Ebloui ($36, chanel.com) to frame the eye.

To finish it off, Levin applied Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss in InSouciance ($32, chanel.com).

Get the Look: Carey Mulligan at the NYC Premiere of "The Great Gatsby"

Despite the fact that Carey Mulligan's been showing off a more minimalistic look on the red carpet for her The Great Gatsby premieres than her glamorized character Daisy in the film, they both have one thing in common – the love of being draped in diamonds.  After all, they are a girls best friend.  For the NYC premiere on Wednesday at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts she reportedly wore $131,500 worth of Tiffany & Co. jewels.  As for her makeup, I spoke with her artist, Georgie Eisdell, to get the scoop on how to get her look. "My inspiration for Carey's look came from her dress," Eisdell commented.  "I wanted to keep the look clean and understated."

Face: For added contour and a slight pop of color, Eisdell used a very light pink blush.

Eyes: The go-to product to create depth was Chanel's Quadra Eyeshadow in Dunes.  To add depth, she swiped a light brown up and over Carey's crease and then went over the lid with a darker cream shadow shade in the quad.  To open her eyes, she used dark brown liner on the outer corners.  After curling her lashes she applied two coats of waterproof mascara.

Lips: It only took one lip shade to get Carey's hint of color – Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine in Interlude. (Coming out this June).

Get the Look: Anne Hathaway's Customized Lip Color at the NYC Les Miserables Premiere

Sultry is one word to describe Anne Hathaway's look at the NYC premiere of Le Miserables this week.  To be honest, I'm not sure if I'm more envious of her perfectly painted lips or the mirror-like shine in her hair.  She looked stunning.  Chanel Makeup Artist Katie Lee gave me the scoop on how to get her flawless skin and velvet-like fuchsia lip (which was a blend of three shades!) that complimented her edgy Tom Ford gown. "We wanted Anne to look slick and chic in her hometown of NYC," Lee commented.

  1. For a velvety finish on the skin, Lee used Chanel Perfection Lumere Long Wear Fluid Makeup SPF 10.  Then gave them a slight flush with Laura Mercier Cream Blush in Prailne.
  2. For a wet look, she applied Chanel Illusion D'Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in Fantasme on Anne's lids.
  3. After applying individual false lashes, two coats of mascara were applied.
  4. Anne's eyebrows are one of her most important features.  Lee spent a lot of time grooming and elongating them with Anastasia's products including her Clear Brow Gel to set them into place.
  5. The lip is a combination of three colors!  Lee mixed: Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour in Rouge Noir and Palipitante with Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in La Somptueuse.  Try that at home!

Get the Look: Kristen Stewart's Bitten Lips & Sparkling Eyes at the Breaking Dawn Part 2 Premiere

––Who saw Breaking Dawn Part 2?  Sorry Twihards, but I never wanted anything to do with Twilight.  Kristen Stewart however, intrigues me.  The actress showed up to the LA premiere of the Twilight Saga last week donning a vintage Zuhair Murad gown paired with Jimmy Choo shoes looking better than ever.  I was shocked when I saw the photos and got the scoop on her glam look from her makeup artist, Jillian Dempsey. "It was really about continuing the luminosity of her dress with shimmering makeup," Dempsey remarks.  "I used iridescent shadow so the light would bounce of here eyes and contrasted bitten, almost stained lips with Kristen's porcelain skin."

Cheeks: For flushed cheeks, Dempsey used Chanel Powder Blush in In Love, but didn't go over board as she wanted to keep color focus on Kristen's lips to keep it glamorous.

Eyes: "I applied layers of shimmery taupe and gold all over the lid and then shaded the crease with a deeper color from Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow in Spices," she explains.  On Kristen's upper and lower lash lines, Dempsey used Chanel Intense Eye Pencil in Noir and smudged shadow underneath the lower lash line to create a softer effect.  To plump up her lashes, Dempsey used Tarte Lash Enhancing Primer than black mascara.

Lips: To hydrate, Dempsey first applied Chanel Rouge Coco Baum then lined them with Laura Mercier Lip Liner in Crushed Berry and filled them in with Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Lip Colour in La Sensuelle.

Get the Look: Keira Knightley, A Classic Beauty

Keira Knightley looked stunning last night at the NYC premiere of Anna Karenina in a black, lace Valentino gown with a rich, raspberry lip.  In my opinion, she killed it.  I rarely cover celeb looks from premieres, because to be honest, I don't like most of them, but this one is flawless and wearable.  I got the scoop on what she's wearing from lashes to lips from her makeup artist, Kate Lee for Chanel.  Here's the rundown. Blush: Lipstick was used as a cream blush.  A great tip I gave on the Wendy Williams show this Monday!  Product used: Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in La Caline.

Shadow: Kate created natural depth in the sockets by lining Keira's upper lids with Laura Mercier Caviar Eyeliner in Midnight and then used Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow in Lagons.  After blending out the the line past the corner of her eyes, she used a nude shade on the top of her lips.

Brows: Brows are everything and Keira has perfectly groomed face framing ones thanks to Lee.  She used Anastasia's Tinted Brow Gel and made them more precise with Chanel Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil in Brun Naturel before blending with a small angled brush.

Mascara:  After curling the lashes, two coates of Chanel Le Volume de Chanel Mascara in Noir was applied.

Lips: First, Kate stained Keira's lips with Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense lip Color in Palpitante and then applied a coat of Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipshine in Rebelle to add a bit of sheen.  I'm obsessed.

Chanel Nail Polish's Happy Dance Video

Even though I should take the subway more often, I take taxi's all over NYC and have been enjoying this video from Chanel in the back seat of the cab.  It showcases some of Chanel's hottest shades – Black Pearl, Dragon, Inattendu, Orange Frizz and Particuliere. Check it out:

Man of the Moment, Jeremy

Hi BeautySweetSpot readers!  I have a new 'Man of the Moment' for you this week, Jeremy, 33, from  Boston but lives in NYC.  He's in Digital Marketing and loves to swim, fish, boat and lift weights... yes, he's single.  He's the type of guy who chooses Angelina Jolie over Jennifer Aniston, but if he were to take any celeb out on a date he'd choose Teresa Palmer.  Check him out: What's in your medicine cabinet?

A wide assortment of Chanel men’s products: Platinum Egoiste deodorant, Platinum Egoiste bath and shower gel, Allure Homme Sport hair and body wash, Pour Monsieur after shave moisturizer, Men’s Lab products: Mulit-action face wash, Invigorating face scrub, Power wash, Power protector SPF 50, and Tend Skin.

I’ve been a big Chanel products fan since receiving a gift set in college for the holidays. As a guy, I get told I smell often, so it’s worth it. Men’s Lab makes quality products; I especially like using the face scrub before shaving and use the Power protector w/SPF 50 daily including as a sunscreen during the summer.

What product can’t you live without and why?

Chanel Platinum Egoiste deodorant. I have these hidden away all over the place (gym bag, bedroom, medicine cabinet. etc) and buy several at one time. I’ve used this product for so long I can’t imagine not having it. I’m a creature of habit.

How would you describe your grooming habits?

Despite the long list of fancy metro sexual products, I consider myself to be a low maintenance guy. On a typical day, I jump in the shower, slather myself up with one of the body wash’s from head to toe, floss, brush my teeth, rub some moisturizer on my face and I’m off 5 min later.

Now be honest, how would a woman describe your grooming habits?

Kind of impressed. I’ve had some help along the way from past girlfriends. The Chanel products seem to be a crowd pleaser.

When prepping to go out on a date what are the three things you make sure you do?

Shave, mouthwash, and get a little more diligent with the body wash.

If you could have one night with any celebrity who would it be and why?  More importantly, what would you do?

Teresa Palmer. She’s incredibly beautiful, she has an Australian accent, and in the trailer for “I am Number 4” she’s kicking ass in a black leather jump suit and walking away from explosions without looking behind. I would spend a day with her on Cape Cod, boating to the Vineyard, biking around the island, eating lobster rolls, and lying on the beach until the sun went down.

What’s the first thing you notice about a woman?

Am I seeing her for the first time from the back or front? Nothing trumps a pretty face.

When it comes to a woman’s beauty what’s your sweet spot?

Good skin and toned arms.

Introducing Tattoo Inspired Scents by Inky

Last year Chanel introduced tattoos on the runways and began selling temporary tattoos starting at $75 per pack.  Sarah Jessica Parker rocked one, but me?  If I'm going to splurge on Chanel it's going to be on a bag or pair of sunglasses. I have a tattoo on my right, inner wrist of a butterfly I designed.  I know, you're probably thinking "a butterfly?," but there's so much meaning behind this butterfly I couldn't begin to explain it and I love it.  It is part of who I am and I look at it as a permanant accessory.

Recently, I came across these tattoo inspired scents by Inky.  They're more like body splashes, two for men and three for women.  I like them because each one reflects a different personality as the butterfly I designed reflects mine.  They're exclusively sold at Target for $5.99.

Nailing in the Nude

Among this season’s prettiest and most attainable runway trends comes in the form of a tiny glass bottle containing a liquid in a lovely, modest shade: nude nail polish.  Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors both had their models sport nude nails on the catwalk.  For quite a while now, we have loved our vernis to make a statement, and to make it loud and clear. But perhaps a more subtle approach would better suit the more mature and refined looks coming down the runway as of recent, from vamp to nautical to safari.  After all, the bold nail does sometimes end up dictating our outfits (what really matches with shimmery aqua nail polish?).

The nude nail gives you the advantage of looking put together and polished (pun intended!).  It doesn’t scream, “Look over here!” Rather, it whispers, “…but even if you do, I’m prepared!”  There are a variety of shades that you can experiment with, from sheer pinks and flesh tones to ivories and peaches.  Even clear polish, light grays, or naked and beautifully buffed nails are fair game. Any of these options will be certain to give you a grown-up finish and let the true you shine through. So ladies, lacquer up and tone it down!

My top picks for the season: Chanel Inattendu, Essie Fed Up, Deborah Lippmann Im Not Innocent

Award Winning Sandra Bullock

This Monday's Muse is Sandra Bullock as she was by far one of the Oscar's best dressed on the red carpet this year in a Marchesa gown and ended up taking home an Oscar for "Best Actress" for her role in The Blind Side. Bullock's smooth strands were blown out by Fekkai, who wanted to create a simple, sleek style to compliment her elegant dress. Chanel makeup artist, Angela Levin, created a modern Hollywood look by keeping her skin dewey, coating the lashes with three layers of mascara and popping the lip with Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Color in Paris.

After 20 years of acting, this well deserved award opened up many doors for Bullock.

Chanel Gives New Meaning to Ink

Backstage at the Spring/Summer 2010 Chanel fashion show in Paris, makeup artists hand painted jewelry on models, but they weren't the only ones. Rodarte also painted their runway models with tribal patterns and Jean Paul Gaultier followed by using airbrushing.

Chanel's Creative Director, Peter Philips, took the trend from runway to real-way by creating Chanel transfer tattoos called Les Trompe L'Oeil de Chanel.

Soon, they will be available online in fifty five different designs for about $75 each.  Leave it to Chanel to create a whole to meaning for temporary tattoos.
