Since the beginning of December, my inbox has been flooded with pitches titled, "New Year, New You," which I've written a thousand times myself, but these stories tend to point us toward products for makeovers and weight loss tips in order to find fulfillment and happiness. The turn of the year however, isn't about finding happiness through fleeting vices. Instead, it's a reminder to reflect on your lifestyle and set intentions to make necessary changes in order to live more beautifully. So welcome, "New Year, Rejuvenated You," because you're already awesome.
How to Keep (and Achieve) Your New Year's Resolution
Have you thought about your New Year's resolution yet? Each year I sit down and make a list of bigger picture "resolutions" and smaller things I hope to accomplish within the year. Last year, becoming a certified yoga teacher and holistic health coach, launching a new business and going to a Taylor Swift concert all make the list – Done. Done. Done. And done. All of these things were easy to cross off the list once finished, but some "resolutions" were bigger, self improvement challenges that I needed a strategy for. So here it is. I hope it helps you, too.
