5 Steps to Unstoppal Success

I just completed my final week of school at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition  and passed my final!  The last guest lecture I had, by Marie Forleo, couldn't have come at a better time in my life. As a friend of Gabby Bernstien, I've been following her work for quite some time and found this particular lecture to be super helpful and a great way to finish.  Here are her five steps to unstoppable success.  I hope you enjoy them as much as i do.

Clarity of your vision

Ask yourself, what vision of the future you're working to create.   If you manifest and express your vision in your personal and professional life, things take on a life of their own.  Personally, it helps to make a vision board to find the clarity in the bigger picture.  Here's my post on how to make one.

Know your priorities

Align your priorities with your definition of success and don’t let the world dictate what your definition of success could be.  Ask yourself, 'what does my life look like three years from today.'  Paint that picture and then map out a 12 month plan full of master projects that include everything you want to do within that period of time (yes, even vacations) to get you closer to your goal.  Once you have that, then you can choose your weekly priorities.  Ask yourself, 'What’s most important to me today?'  Just by asking this simple question, you can begin to run your schedule instead of allowing your "busy" week to own you.

Eliminate Excuses

There are two kinds of people in the world – those who have reasons and those who have results.  You will always find a way for that which is truly important to you.  Otherwise, instead of blaming things like money or time when you don't want to do things, simply acknowledge, “it’s not a priority for me right now,” when making decisions.  Truth is, you always find time an money for that which is truly important to you.  Start calling bullshit on yourself.

Be Professional

Shift your attitude so that it produces a behavioral change so you can stop acting like an amateur and begin acting like a professional.  The way you do one thing is the way you do everything (partially the reason I'm anal about folding my yoga blankets). Maybe you need to step it up in the love department, with your friendships or career.

Everything is Figure-out-able

No matter what you have in front of you, you can figure it out.  Whether or not you’re able to fix the situation or find another solution, you can figure it out.  This idea eliminates fear and anxiety and in operating this way you, you'll be unstoppable.
