an indie beauty brand worth knowing
I love discovering new, indie beauty brands that really cut through the clutter. As a beauty writer for the past ten years, I'm hard to impress, but when I see something different, I have to get my hands on it. I first discovered Tréstique at the Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) product demonstration last month. It was one of the few highlighted indie beauty brands that I stopped to learn about. Now, I have their sticks and crayons in all of my bags.
Tréstique is a collection of 2-in-1 makeup formulas in stick or crayon form making application and transport super simple. All of the packaging is magnetic, so you don't have to worry about a cap popping off and getting makeup all over your bag. Plus, the products that need tools like a brush or a wand are dual ended and include the tool on one end. The design concept is genius and the formulations beautiful.
I recently featured the brand in a NBC New York Live segment. Check it out here. I'm telling you, as a jaded, veteran in this industry, it's refreshing to find a brand that fills a void.
