Now that I was able to share the big news, I can tell you how I got that awesome ponytail in the ads. My on-set hairstylist, Bethany Brill told me a tip that changed my life forever. OK, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but as someone who's constantly in athleisure wear and even sometimes wears a pony on date night, this was a total game changer.
How to Create A Fat Ponytail
- Gather your hair into a ponytail as you usually would and secure it with an elastic.
- Then, sepererate your pony and make another one within it and secure it with an elastic.
- Repeat to make another one for a more dramatic effect.
This simple trick instantly made my pony look bigger. Also, if you have super thick or heavy hair, you can do the same strategy to give your pony extra support. As Bethany calls it, "a ponytail bra."
