The Glamour of the Fashion 2.0 Awards

Last night I had the honor to be a presenter at the Fashion 2.0 Awards.  Held at Merkin Concert Hall in NYC and hosted by Robert Verdi, I along with Coco Rocha, Jeannie Mai and members of the Style Coalition, celebrated the fashion industries most innovative of the year. With a keynote by Zac Posen, feeling sassy in a DKNY tutu it was a great celebration. Allow me once again to present the winners...

The Exact Products Used to Get Beth Behrs's Look

Whenever there's a red carpet to watch, I stalk makeup artist, Jamie Greenberg's work.  Sure enough, she killed it again last night by giving Two Broke Girls star, Beth Behrs a look like no other.  While I noticed nude lips were dominating the red carpet last night at the People's Choice Awards, she gave Beth a punchy coral pout and it worked.  Here are details from Jamie on exactly what products were used to get Beth's look and behind the scenes pics.

1. Prep the face with Laura Mercier Hydrating Foundation Primer and then apply mark's Got The Goods Multi-Benefit Foundation Lotion SPF 15 all over.

2. Apply mark's Super Conceal Full Coverage Concealer under the eyes, then sweep mark's Touch and Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes across cheekbones.

3. Next, apply mark's Please Hold Eye Primer all over the eye lid and apply mark's On The Dot Smokey Color Compact in navy (bottom right shade) to the outer corners of the eye.

4. Line the top lash line with Avon's SuperShock Gel Eye Liner Pencil in Blackout and the bottom lash line with mark's No Place To Run Longwear Eyeliner in Jet Set.

5. Finish the eyes with three layers of Ardell Natural Individual Lashes and two coats of bareMineral Flawless Definition Waterproof Mascara.

6. Complete the look with mark's Lipclick Full Color Lipstick in Coral Fixation.

Get the Look: Kristen Stewart's Hair & Makeup from the Kid's Choice Awards

Kristen Stewart was all smiles yesterday as she walked the purple and orange red carpet in a blue Osman mini at the Kid's Choice Awards.  I actually don't think I've ever seen her smile so much.  Nominated for 'Favorite Movie Actress' for her work in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, her effortless hair and striking eyes complimented her overall look. Here's how to get it. Kristen's hairstylist, Adir Abergel, of Fekkai created an effortless looking side braid that contrasted with the tight lines of her dress.  He started by using Fekkai Perfectly Luscious Curls Wave Activating Spray on her damp hair and scrunch dried it with diffuser to create texture.  After sweeping her hair back from her face, he created a fishtail braid down the middle of her head and secured it with a clear band.  The key to the look was to make it look perfectly undone.  Adir pulled the braid loosely apart and took out some face framing pieces.

"My inspiration for Kristen's makeup look came from the vibrancy of her green eyes," celebrity makeup artist," Jillian Dempsey explained.  I wanted to push the strength of her eyes using shades of purple with iridescent accents."

Using the deep purple shade in Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow in Vanities, she added depth to Kristen's eyes and blended and layered metallic accents to intensify the look using Chanel Illusion D'Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in Mirifique.  She used two different eyeliners to trace her upper and lower lids to add to the intensity.  On the top: Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner in Black Shimmer.  On the bottom: Chanel Precision Eye Definer in Violet Smoke.

The Golden Globes: Battle of the Sexy

It's awards season!  My favorite time of the year!  I can't wait to watch The Golden Globes this Sunday to kick it all off and hope you'll be joining me as I tweet the red carpet live!  The most interesting thing about the Globes this year is that every hot man (by man I mean the real men of Hollywood) is nominated.  All of them!  But there's a catch, they're all competing against each other. Are you ready for this?  If you only watch one award being announced all night let it be this one,"Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture." The nominees are... George Clooney in The DescendantsLeonardo DiCaprio in J. EdgarMichael Fassbender in ShameRyan Gosling in The Ides Of March and Brad Pitt in Moneyball.

I'm anxious to see who wins and am having a hard time trying to figure out who I'd choose considering I didn't see all of the movies.  Ryan Gosling is definitely a heart throb, but I have a weak spot for George Clooney if this is a sexy contest.  Brad Pitt on the other hand... I have mixed feelings.  Sometimes I think he's over rated and others I think he's become incredibly hot since he's been Angelinaized.  Leonardo DiCaprio hasn't been not my cup of tea since the Titanic days, but he is an excellent actor.  Michael Fassbender has red hair.  Enough said.
